Ethics Committee

The Jewish Hospital Ethics Committee is a multi-disciplinary group established to focus on ethical questions or issues that may arise from the care of patients.

The Ethics Committee is available, at the request of any patient, patient family member, health care professional or concerned person, to consult with those involved in an effort to reach an informed judgment consistent with sound medical principles and patients' rights.

A request for Ethics Committee consultation may be made through the Medical Staff Office at 587-4426, or in case of Emergency, the On-Call Ethics Committee member may be requested at, 587-4011.
