In 1998, Jewish Hospital opened the Bullitt County Medical Center. Currently,
the facility houses three full-time physicians; eight time-share specialty
physicians (primary care, general surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology,
urology, and ear, nose and throat care) and the only licensed comprehensive
outpatient rehab facility, Frazier Rehab Institute, in Bullitt County.
A $400,000 expansion was added to the facility to open the doors for
additional physicians to practice in the county and reinforce Jewish
Hospital's commitment to the community.
