Did you know there is a primary care physician office right on the Jewish Hospital Medical Center South (MCS) campus? Saleem Family Medicine — part of The Physician Group, a service of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH) — is located on the first floor of the Medical Office Building. Waqar Saleem, M.D., a board certified family physician, and Charla Glover, A.R.N.P., are on hand to handle anything from runny noses to broken bones.

The office opened in July 2007 and has seen steady growth in patient volume over the almost two years they’ve been open. Dr. Saleem has practiced medicine for more than 13 years, which helps ensure families in Bullitt County receive the high-quality care they are used to from JHSMH.

In addition to being conveniently located on the MCS campus right off Interstate 65, Saleem Family Medicine offers the latest medical equipment and a fully trained staff of medical assistants. The practice accepts most forms of insurance, and if additional tests are needed as a result of an office visit, same-day appointments at MCS are available in many cases.

Although Saleem Family Medicine is growing, there’s still room for new patients. Same-day appointments are still available during their office hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to noon. To schedule an appointment, call (502) 957-2084.
