The ACLS Provider Course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and a team leader in either an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting.  Because the ACLS Provider Course covers extensive material in a short time, you will need to prepare for the course beforehand. 

The ACLS Provider Manual is a requirement and can be rented or purchased in the Nursing Education Office.  The cost of the book $33.00.  You will need to complete materials on the CD that comes with the manual.

ACLS Courses are limited to Jewish Hospital RNs in critical care and Respiratory Therapists.  Jewish Hospital RNs outside critical care are accepted on a space available basis.
Non-JHHS employees will only be allowed to use the computerized ACLS system for a $175.00 fee. 

There is a $5.00 charge for the ACLS card, which is paid on the day of the course.   The ACLS card will be mailed to the participant when it is received from the training center.

There is no charge for Jewish Hospital Employees, but a $45.00 deposit must be made before registration.  The deposit will be returned to you after you complete the course.  A one week cancellation notice is required!
