Hearing and Balance Frazier Rehab Institute's team of specialists use state-of-the-art technology to evaluate patients with vestibular or inner ear disorders, age-related conditions or central nervous system disorders. Balance Master System Provides objective protocols to access the sensory systems and voluntary motor control. It also provides evidence-based treatment protocols that can be individualized for systematic functional re-training. Equitest Presents a series of challenges with the patient in a standing position. These tests examine the relationships between a person's vision, inner ear and somatosensory system of the muscles and joints. Audiometric Testing A hearing test conducted in a sound-proof booth. Testing is also provided through Health Care Express, a mobile medical unit. Vestibular Evaluation & Rehab Conducted by a physical therapist specialized in assessing and treating vestibular and balance disorders. Treatment is based on a series of individualized exercises to improve functional balance and relieve dizziness.
