A
biomechanical evaluation is designed to assess function during human motion.
The lab utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to collect kinematic, kinetic
and dynamic EMG data. Information from a biomechanical evaluation is used
to provide recommendations for treatment, assess the effectiveness of
treatment and assist in the development of proper rehabilitation programs.
Biomechanical analyses are also used in the area of sports performance
to provide recommendations for the improvement of skill mechanics and
assist in the development of safer training practices.
