Jewish Hospital Orthopaedics provides a comprehensive approach to treatment, including prevention, education, diagnosis and treatment for people with acute or chronic bone or joint disorders.

The center's physician and staff are the leaders in all areas of orthopaedic care, including emergency, surgery, rehab and home care.

Jewish Hospital's Orthopaedic Center has strong affiliations with the University of Louisville School of Medicine and was named by the HCIA Sachs a 100 Top Orthopaedic Hospital and in the Top 15 for our Orthopaedic Residency program in 2001.

The Orthopaedic Center is located at Jewish Hospital on 3 East and includes 37 beds. Over 20 certified registered rehab nurses, who specialize in Orthopaedic care, and a dedicated physical therapy staff from Frazier Rehab Institute assists patients in a quick and successful recovery. Education, home care instructions and arrangements for care and assistance after discharge are also provided based on the patient's needs.

Your doctor may also advise for assistance from a home care provider, such as VNA Home Care, after discharge.
