Harvey M. Diamond, M.D. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Diamond is a speaker and published author. He has served as Chief Plant Physician for Ford Motor Company, Louisville Assembly Plant, and has been a Program Organizer/Coordinator for many employee health projects at Ford. Dr. Diamond formerly served as Secretary/Treasurer and is currently President of the Kentucky Occupational Medical Association. He was also a member of the National Task Force for the American College of Occupational Medicine to study repetitive injuries in the workplace. Dr. Diamond is a volunteer physician for Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and The Healing Place. Mario Maya, M.D. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Maya trained and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He has over 20 years experience in Occupational Medicine, having served as plant physician for Phillip Morris in Louisville, prior to devoting his full-time practice to Occupational Medicine. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians since 1986 and has served as past President of the Medical Staff at Suburban Medical Center. Dr. Maya has served as President of the Kentucky Occupational and Environmental Medical Association. He is the current medical director for local companies emergency services and automatic external defibrillator (AED) programs. Dr. Maya served as Medical Director for the 1994 and 2000 PGA Tournaments held in Louisville. He will again serve in that capacity for the 2004 Senior PGA Tournament. He is a volunteer physician at Freedom Hall and Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium for University of Louisville sporting events. Rick H. Pack, M.D. Dr. Pack is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. A former Acting Medical Director of Cumberland Valley Primary Care Center. He has also served as Consultant at the Park DuValle Health Center and to the Commonwealth Management Advisor Services in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Pack's other appointments include part-time Clinical Instructor in Family Practice at the University of Louisville and Representative of the Jefferson County Medical Society on the Park DuValle Health Center Board of Directors. He is a volunteer physician at Freedom Hall and Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium for University of Louisville sporting events and a member of the Union College Board of Trustees. Ronald E. Podoll, M.D. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Podoll has been a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has also served as Director of Emergency Services for Suburban Medical Center. A former President of Kentucky Occupational Medical Association, Dr. Podoll now serves as Treasurer for KOMA. He has practiced Occupational Medicine for over 19 years, and is certified as a Medical Review Officer by both the American Association of Medical Review Officers and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. John F. Rose, M.D. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Rose is presently the Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at U of L. A former President of the Kentucky Occupational Medical Association and a recipient of the 1983 YMCA Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award, he is currently a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine with Master status. Dr. Rose is a volunteer physician for Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and The Healing Place and is the author of numerous publications. Frank P. Vannier, M.D. Dr. Vannier graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and became board certified in Occupational Medicine in 1989. He was then appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Practice at U of L in 1990. He has been named a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Medicine. Dr. Vannier is an aviation medical examiner and is certified as a Medical Review Officer by both the American Association of Medical Review Officers and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has served as President of the Kentucky Occupational Medical Association several times. Presently, Dr. Vannier is also involved with developing and maintaining medical surveillance programs for Rohm & Haas Kentucky, Inc., Engelhard Chemical Corporation (Harshaw Chemical Co.), Zeon Chemicals, Inc., Vermont American Corporation (Robert Bosch) and American Synthetic Rubber Company. Dr. Vannier is a co-author with Dr. Rose of a chapter of the textbook Occupational Hand & Upper Extremity Injuries. Pat Groves, Family Nurse Practitioner Pat Groves is a board certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist with certifications in Occupational Hearing Conservation and Pulmonary Function Testing. She received her MSN from Vanderbilt University and has worked with Occupational Physician Services since 1994. She performs physical examinations for Post-Offer, Annual, Respirator and Emergency Response Team and assesses and treats patients with work related injuries and illnesses. Groves is a preceptor for nurse practitioner students for the University of Louisville and Spalding University.
