Sleep Apnea Laboratory
 The
Sleep Apnea Laboratory is part of the comprehensive neurodiagnostic services
available through the Neuroscience Institute. The Sleep Lab has been helping
patients for more than a decade and includes sophisticated diagnostic
equipment for the evaluation of sleep apnea, excessive daytime drowsiness
and other breathing-related sleep disorders. Testing is performed on both
an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Patients are referred to the Sleep Apnea Laboratory by their personal
physician when a sleep-related disorder is suspected and specific testing
is needed. A specialist trained in sleep testing interprets the results
and the findings are returned to the patient's physician.
