24-Hour Emergency Care

Immediate emergency treatment is available through the Jewish Hospital Hand Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Hand Trauma Teams headed by Kleinert, Kutz and Associates' staff physicians are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The team approach allows care of multiple patients with severe trauma as well as minor injuries. Each team includes Fellows in Hand Surgery who are fully trained plastic, orthopedic or general surgeons.

These surgeons come to Louisville from all over the world for additional training in hand and microsurgery. To date, more than 1000 physicians from 50 countries have served as Fellows in conjunction with the Christine M. Kleinert Institute and the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
